Job Description

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Job Site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Tasks:
-Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
-Install or replace asphalt shingles
-Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
-Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials
-Read blueprints
-Repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings
-Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems
-Repair roofing systems
-Instruct apprentices
-Supervise other workers
-Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
-Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
-Install sheet metal flashings
-Estimate costs and materials
-Erect and install scaffolding
